Buffalo badly needed a place like this and now we have one. This is great news. The truly fresh food such as the sandwiches, pastas, and soups are exceptional. We took home two quarts of the chicken soup the other day and it was spectacular, especially on a cold day. We also tried the delicious house sandwich and it is so large, it fed both of us. We also had the rigatoni alla gricia on a different visit and we never thought we’d get real guanciale (the pork bits in the pasta) in a place to eat in Buffalo. A great pasta dish. When you go, also try the excellent cannoli. The Italian products sold in the beautifully decorated store are brand name items from Italy that you won’t find in your average supermarket. The Lorenzo extra virgin olive oil we got was amazing. Dalfonso’s is a real asset to the area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about Italian food and what they are serving. The owner, who is also the chef, definitely knows what he is doing.

I was hesitant when my friend & I walked in on an impulse & checked out the menu. I'm not a fan of sandwiches so I ordered the pasta pomodoro & coffee americano. The pasta was delicious. The portion was hearty. My coffee was good & strong. Last, the pistachio cannoli was divine! And if you want to transport yourself to Italy, check out the assortment of Italian imports (canned, bottled & boxed) that line the walls in a decorative fashion. A great addition to Allentown!

Delicious sandwiches that transport you to the sun baked vineyards and hillsides of Italy. The flavors are bright, the bread is fresh, the combination of ingredients is divine, and the price can't be beat. Come hungry and try it all, you'll be glad you did!

Just a guy that wants to make sandwiches, and they are the best I've ever had. No small talk needed to understand the passion for making good food. Visiting from Rochester, will be back to try more.

De-lish generous sandwiches. Great Italian specialty items - tomatoes, pasta, Italian sweets etc. I love the cozy ambiance. Get there before they run out of sandwiches for the day!

Stopped by at their new home in Allentown for lunch and was stunned by how high quality everything was! The tomato basil soup they had that day was the freshest I've ever tasted, you could tell that they put a lot of love and good ingredients into it. The chicken salad sandwich was also great too, the sandwiches they make are next level. Absolutely a must-stop-by place in the neighborhood, what a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

Great sandwiches! Got the fried mortadella today, perfect amount of mustard. Also a huge fan of their cannolis but try to go early in case they sell out. Usually vanilla and sometimes other fun flavors (funfetti, nutella, concord grape etc). Huge fan!!!
